With all that is happening on Pike and Pine street, it is easy to lose track of what other fantastic new businesses are in the works in the surrounding neighborhood. One of these new ventures that is sure to be a hit is the soon to open PoDog Hot Dogs on Union Street between 10th and 11th.
According to the Capitol Hill Blog, this new shop will feature a fresh take on this standard food category including 100% beef dogs and one hot dog with bananas and peanut butter. They will also feature a selection of vegetarian options.
PoDog’s is tenativey scheduled for an October 1st grand opening and expects to do a “Hot-Dog-A-Day Giveaway” to celebrate. In the meantime check out the PoDog website, twitter, and Facebook page for all the latest details.
