“I have been to Emerson Salon several times now. Marissa is amazing. I quickly gave her free range on my hair and she has always done a wonderful job. She will cut your hair to fit you. I went from being a red-head to a dirty blond by her handy work. She matched the hair color with my skin tone so well. (A rather difficult thing to do w/ my skin). I have had sooo many people compliment me on my hair (people have stopped me on the street)… and I have been able to refer several people The environment is very laid back and everything is very clean and well kept. Also, I never felt pressured to buy any product. (This has happened in almost every salon I’ve been to before and I find it rather annoying). I will be sticking with Marissa for as long as possible!“

Hairlocs hair extensions are awesome because they do not require glue, heat, chemicals, sewing or braiding. They are attached by a small bead, or loc, that is gently clamped to the hair near the scalp. This process does not cause any damage to the hair, unlike bonding. They are super easy to put in and take out and totally comfortable. Most of my clients who have them don’t even feel like they have extensions in.

Any hair type and hair color can be created or matched including foils and bright funky colors like hot pink! These extensions are great not just for people who want to add length to their hair but fine and thinning hair as well.

Natalie Portman is one of the many celebrities that wear HairLocs. This is also a great example of how natural they look.

Marissa recently completed these amazing HairLoc hair extensions for her client Jeanette. Jeannette was Marissa’s model for our 1-year anniversary party so we got some greats pictures of her excellent work for our salon style book. Congrats Marissa!

I got to do a really cool retro updo for Heather, who is going to be in an upcoming issue of Tattoo Magazine. Her beautiful tattoo was done by Erika at Slave to the Needle.

Here are some pictures of an amazing job that Marissa did providing her client with some extreme HariLoc hair extensions. The client’s natural hair is very fine and ends just below her shoulders.
