John Struble's Bio

John Struble relocated from Florida to Seattle in 2007, followed by his sister and his closest friends, who also migrated here from Orlando to Capitol Hill. Following high school, he originally pursued his other passion, music, and went to school for recording engineering. After working in this field for 4 years, and giving all his friends free haircuts, John was compelled to pursue his passion for hair and went to school at Woody’s Hairstyling Institute in Florida. He still loves music, but now you can catch him playing drums in his band, Vile Display of Humanity, at various venues here in Seattle.

He began his career as a stylist in Florida and continued his profession here in Seattle at Halo salon, Rudy’s, Etherea, and Hardware, before calling Emerson home. John specializes in color and the technique Balyage because it can look very natural or more edgy, using the red, orange and yellow that naturally occurs during this process.

John has a creative, easy-going style and enjoys pleasing his clients. He wants everyone who comes to him for a service to leave excited about his or her hair. In order to accomplish this, he focuses on listening and communicating with his clients, from consultation to finishing style, to give the most flattering hairstyle for the individual and helping them look their best.
